Sharenting: A Modern Epidemic
Oversharing photos of children on social media, or ‘sharenting’, has become a common practice in our social media habits. From the first ultrasound photos to posts about school achievements and so forth it can sometimes feel like your watching The Truman Show play out in real life. But it can have harmful effects on children and their privacy. Alex spoke with Tama Leaver, Associate Professor in Internet Studies at Curtin University, to help us understand this new normal.
