Sharing Habitats With Dingoes

Last Sunday evening a six year old boy was taken to hospital after sustaining severe leg wounds from a dingo attack on Fraser Island. As a result of the incident, Ranger patrols on the popular tourist destination have been ramped up. Dingoes are a protected species on Fraser Island but notably dangerous dingoes responsible for attacks have been put down in the past. Today on The Daily we were joined by Professor Mike Letnic from the Centre for Ecosystem Science discussing preventative measures to avoid dingo attacks and how to best deal with them.
