Sharks are our friends, not foes

The ocean is so vast and unexplored that it’s existence can be both awe inspiring and terrifying.

Sharks play a massive part in our fear of the water but as the old saying goes, they’re likely more frightened of us than we are of them.

Sharks are apex predators, however by nature are not aggressive towards humans, rather they are inquisitive creatures.

They’re also hugely important in the equilibrium of our marine ecosystems, but human induced threats of climate change and culling have put more than a few shark species on the endangered species list.
