Shifting space: New investment in Australia’s space sector
The 2018 budget included an almost $50 million boost for Australia’s space sector, with $26 million allocated to establishing a new space agency and $15 million to be invested in international space projects. Now that we are seeing real investment in Australia’s space sector, we spoke to Brad Tucker, Astrophysicist and Cosmologist from the Australian National University about the new allocation of funds and where he hopes to see this money spent over the next four years.
