Shorten’s Tax Trust: Making The Rich Pay More?

The opposition leader Bill Shorten was trying to lead labor in what some say is a new direction. Using a platform of rectifying inequality and “making the rich pay more”, some see Shorten’s actions aligned with the recent wave of populist politics. His recent policy announcement, of a labor government crackdown on trusts with a new tax, followed the same grain. But what measures would it involve and is it feasible?
