It’s made a lot of people question the kinds of support whistleblowers and us taxpayers should have against unfair practices. In fact, there’s also been calls for our nation’s Tax Ombudsman, Karen Payne, to have more power in overseeing the ATO to protect taxpayers and whistleblowers.
