Should we vaccinate children first once a COVID vaccine arrives?
Most recently, three COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca have been proved to be 90%, 94%, and up to 90% effective respectively. However, there is a discussion from the World Health Organisation about how these vaccines if approved should be best allocated to. One of the possible strategies includes prioritizing children in receiving the vaccine first in order to protect the elderly.
