Why we shouldn’t cull our kangaroos

Kangaroos are one our most iconic native species, so why are we killing them off?

Millions of kangaroos are culled each year in Australia in an effort to stop the assumed exponential spread of the species.

But research undertaken by a team from the Centre for Compassion and Conservation at the University of Technology Sydney says there’s no concrete proof to show an over abundant population and that in fact they’re on the decline.
