Sistas & Salt: empowering Indigenous women
International Women’s Day is celebrated in honour of all women. We praise inspiring women and the work they do among their communities to support and empower their peers, and one such woman doing incredible work is Rhiannon Mitchell.
Monday Drive chatted to Rhiannon, a proud First Nations woman from the Mununjali people of Beaudesert. She grew up on Gumbaynggirr Country, and has taken her experiences and passion for helping others to establish mentoring programs through her organization Sistas and Salt.
