‘Slow Science’: An answer to Mass Produced unreliable Research?

There’s been a recent trend of journal article retractions and scientific fraud being done by some university scientists.
This current problem of ‘fast science’ is a result of a highly competitive market in the university sector for rankings.
Yet the answer to solving this problem may come down to ‘slow science’, whereby quality is prioritised over quantity.
