Are small business tax concessions working?
Last year’s budget saw small business tax concessions for purchases up to $20,000. ABS data has shown an increase in retail and car sales for the financial year ended 2015, but are these tax concessions responsible for the pickup? Independent Economist, Saul Eslake says the concessions haven’t had the sustained effect government hoped for. So what have the concessions done for small business?
