Head to Freda’s for ‘Vivid Music: Pleasure Cycle’ where Sydney’s very own Ben Fester is playing a mammoth 6-hour set. Entry is free before 9 and $10 after.
Sunday
For just $10 spice up your Sunday with The Inner Westival. In collaboration with Vivid, The Inner Westival presents some of Sydney’s latest and greatest Hip Hop and RnB. On the lineup, we have B Wise, Adrain Eagle, and Milan Ring. Head to the Leadbelly in Newtown from 6pm.
Monday
The Comedy Lounge w Becky Lucas, Imaan Hadchiti and more
Head to cafe lounge this Monday evening for a sprinkle of comedy. Performing alongside headliner Becky Lucas are Jamie Kirk, Alfie Cannock and many more. Entry is just $10, and it’s best to arrive around 7pm to secure yourself a seat!
Tuesday
The Buoys, Okin Osan, Bare Minimums and CCXO
Sydney’s up-and-coming all-female rock band the Buoys are gracing us with their rock and roll at Cobra Club this Tuesday for just $5. Supporting them for their ‘Blues Point Road’ single launch are local acts Okin Osan, Bare Minimums and CCXO. This all kicks off at 7pm.
Wednesday
Down to Earth is an art exhibition presting work inspired by the golden record that was sent from earth 41 earth-years ago.. what does that mean? You’ll have to head over to Down / Under Space gallery in Chippendale to find answers. Check out works by Annabel Cook, Eloise White, Sally Lewis and more as well as live performances! This starts at 6pm and will cost you $0.
Thursday
YEEVS, Morning TV and Frat Boy Hedonists at Waywards
There are three great bands debuting some new tracks this Thursday at Waywards. Showcasing material from their upcoming debut LP, YEEVS will be joined by longtime friends Morning TV and Sydney trio Frat Boy Hedonists in a fun-filled night of groovy tunes. Tickets are just $5 on the door!
Friday
This Friday three performances take over 107’s rooftop garden and stages for In Frequency. The first is ‘Patchwork Dreaming’, a multimedia performance for an Ensemble of Musicians, Dancers, Electronics and a Bush-Poet, which explores local cultural heritage and Blackness in contemporary Australia. The second is ‘The Sound of Spaces’ which offers an immersive performance for a blindfolded audience. The last work is ‘Intangible Instruments’ which features interactive works by performers, designers, and researchers, exploring intersections between voice and movement. Doors open at 6pm and entry is $10.
