Are We Alone? Art Exhibition

Sydney artists Lara Colby, Katarzyna Niedzielak and AJ Nelson explore the aesthetics and spirituality of the belief in intelligent alien life reportedly held by 61% of the world’s population. Mothership Studios, Marrickville, 6pm, free.

Newtown Festival 2018

Celebrating 40 years, Newtown Festival is Newtown Neighbourhood Centre  with funds going to frontline services for those doing it tough in the Inner West . They’ll be a lineup of local artists including The Kid Laroi, Palms, Georgia June, Pirra, Motherfunk, Dive Bell and more! Other stalls include and events Eco Village, Better Read Than Dead Writers Tent, Kids Zone, Sassy Treats Dog Show and around 300 stalls selling food, beverages, arts and crafts, fashion and we’ll have a 2ser stall, some come say hi! Camperdowne Memorial Rest Park, Newtown, 9:30am-5:30pm, $5 donation

Possible Dream Theory #2

Curated by George Adams ft. artists Emily Parsons-Lord, Polly Borland, Matthew Harris, Drew Connor Holland, Laura Moore, nova Milne, Kenny Pittock and more!  Pompom Galerie’s new exhibition explores vivid dreamscapes and questions reality and fiction. Electronic Music Conference 2018

On Wednesday November 14 and Thursday November 15, EMC returns with a new venue, a line up of incredible speakers and an unmissable program. This year, EMC will feature a stacked Keynote Theatre featuring front to back keynotes over two days, teamed with four breakout spaces focussing on different streams of content – Tech, an Artist and Manager’s Hub, Touring and Events and EMC Studio which houses EMC’s workshops and master classes focussed on craft development and music creation. UTS Design and Architecture Grad Show

Showcasing UTS student work across Animation, Architecture, Fashion and Textiles, Interior Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Master of Design, Photography, Product Design and Visual Communication. Through poetic word pairings, clashing colour palettes and curated spaces, Futures Histories celebrates curiosity, critique and the capacity for design and architecture to create better futures. We see this event as an opportunity to exchange ideas between industry, research partners, graduates, alumni and future students. UTS: Design, Architecture & Building, Ultimo, 6pm, free.

CARMOUFLAGE ROSE – “Taste” Tour

Camouflage Rose returns in celebration of his debut EP ‘TASTE’ hot off the success of his hit singles ‘Late Nights’, ‘Wildflowers’ and ‘Let Me Down’ ft George Maple for another round of explosive shows and cementing his place as one of the fastest growing and exciting acts in the country. With the impending release of his debut EP TASTE on October 12th and his current single ‘Let Me Down’ ft.
