So many gigs, so little time: keeping on top with SydneyMusic’s gig guide

If you’ve ever been stuck with trying to keep up with all the gigs happening around Sydney, with countless thriving artists and venues, you’re probably not the only one.

Max, the host of Friday Drive was joined by co-founder of sydneymusic.net Joe Hardy, to discuss the site’s extensive ongoing gig guide, its origins, the role it has in the community, and ambitions in archiving all of what’s happening in the Sydney music scene. They also chatted about the site’s goal of taking back control from the algorithm that the internet and so many gig guide’s have relied on for so long, keeping things simple and accessible.

If you’re interested in checking out the gig guide or supporting the project through donations or contributions, you can find it over at http://sydneymusic.net.
