Sounds of Space Project’s Space Music

Monday Drive’s Ben Curdie stayed up for a late-evening chat with international experimental music assemblage The Sound of Space Project on their latest album “In Aurora’s Garden (2023)”, the ins and outs of making actual space music (with real scientific equipments) and the inherent existentialism of making 21st century art from the last audible throes of 1.3 billion-year old dead stars.

The Sound of Space Project are: British Antarctic Survey space weather scientist Nigel Meredith, multimedia artist-engineer Diana Scarborough, and Australian composer/teacher, Kim Cunio.
