Spike in Australian teens with eating disorders due to COVID-19
Eating disorders among Australian teenagers has increased since the COVID-19 pandemic, with child psychologists in over demand.
According to experts there has been a 63 percent increase in teenagers suffering from eating disorders since early 2020.
Experts and researchers say there has been similar findings across Australia confirming COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns have initiated or worsened disordered eating for adolescents.
