Stage not Age: Lindfield Learning Village’s fresh approach to learning
How would you feel about throwing away 4-walled classrooms and bell times at school? Should our kids be driving their own learning? The Lindfield Learning Village has a fresh take on the way we educate Australian youth, taking a ‘stage not age’ approach to student learning. With at least 1200 parents attending open nights and huge numbers of enrolment applications, the new school opens in Term 1 next year on the old University of Technology Sydney site at Kuringai.
Tess was joined by newly-appointed principal Stephanie McConnell to find out about the Lindfield Learning Village’s layout and ‘experimental’ approach.
