Sydney Film Festival Interview: Standing Up For Sunny
You may know him from Breaking Bad, but he’s moving to a much different pace of performance in this new Australian Rom-Com.
RJ Mitte, stars in the Australian Original Production “Standing Up For Sunny”. The film follows the story of Travis, a young man effected with Cerebral Palsy who has recently found himself out of a Job, and picking up shifts at a bar to stay afloat. There he meets Sunny, an aspiring Comedian who he soon finds himself falling in love with.
Taking a realistic and honest look at the daily struggles of living with a disability, the film is anything but afraid to explore and discuss issues of discrimination and ableism.
