Make Way for Hemi Hemingway

2SER Static host Berko chats to Wellington’s croonsome doo-wop heartbreaker Hemi Hemingway about his just-dropped debut album, the show-stopping “Strangers Again”.

Hemi tells us what it was like to bring his alter-ego back home after dreaming it up in London, why he leaned into some New Romantic stylings on the record, and how he was able to incorporate his heritage in some of its lyrics.

You can hear Static each week on 2SER, Thursdays at 8pm.
