Stigma makes regional youth to move to cities: research
A new research from the University of Melbourne studied the reasons why young Australians in regional areas decide to move to metropolitan areas. While some say it was for work or studying purposes, it also showed stigma of staying in their regions are one of the reasons they relocate to bigger cities.
