Stretching Expectations

After meeting Fergus during a shift, and exposing my embarrassing lack of flexibility, he left me pondering my forgotten days of mobility and why I lost any motivation to be able to able to touch my toes. He talked about the need for me to prioritise a stretching routine into my day to day regardless if its a simple one pose for five minutes or an hour sweat off on my target yoga mat in my bedroom. What interested me the most however, was his interest in the relaxation aspect of yoga as he explains in the interview that “sometimes the best thing to do is to do nothing”, further explaining that yoga is not a competition but an instruction guide to how we can better utilise our bodies for the betterment of our mind and overall well-being.  Listen as Fergus chats to Danny about why men in particular should reconsider yoga, how you can start and what benefits are waiting for you on the mat.
