Stroke survivors push for change

It kills more women than breast cancer and more men than prostate cancer – but why isn’t it a public health priority?

We’re talking about stroke – which in Australia affects one person every ten minutes.

It was declared a public health emergency more than 20 years ago – but a group of delegates who visited Canberra earlier this week are saying ‘nothing’s being done to stop it’.
