Students using nicotine patches during the HSC

It’s no secret that vaping has become a big hit with the teens, but while the packaging contains bright colours and fruitful flavours, the contents aren’t quite as positive. In the most recent HSC exams it was reported that students were using nicotine patches to help them deal with not being able to vape during the exams, as well as nicotine withdrawal. So what does this say about students’ health, and the education we’re providing students on the issue of drug use. Joining Ben Tomkins from the Sydney Drug Education & Counselling Centre to discuss more on this issue is their Clinical Director – Belinda Volkov.
