Studies Show The Severe Impact Of Intimate Partner Violence Against Women
A new study release by Australia’s National Research Organisation for Women’s Safety (ANROWS) shows that intimate partner violence has serious impacts for women’s health, affecting mental health, problems during pregnancy and birth, alcohol use disorders, suicide and homicide. Their study indicates that one in four women will experience at least one incident of violence from a partner from the age of 15. Heather Nancarrow, CEO of ANROWS, discussed the impacts of partner violence.
