Sunny Luwe blooms as she soars on ‘Flowers in the Sky’

True to her name, Sunny Luwe writes music that shines through as bright, fun, and feel-good. Her debut album Flowers in the Sky contains ten tracks that vacillate between nostalgic vintage-pop tendencies to smokier soul and funk, and in her own words — “sounds like the 70s had a baby with the 90s”. If you like a little Thelma Plum mixed with The Beatles and a little Lenny Kravitz thrown in for good measure, you’ll love Sunny’s new record.

Sunny joined Curdie on Monday Drive live from Kombumerri Country (Gold Coast) to chat about this first record.
