Support Program for HSC Students Mental Health

The strain of getting through your HSC years, and transitioning to life after the HSC isn’t easy at the best of times, but Covid-19 has added another layer of stress to an already stressful time. It’s especially worrying with young adults already experiencing high rates of mental illness.

The Kidman Centre, a mental health treatment and research centre for children, adolescents and young adults, recognised that HSC students need support and strategies, to have optimism for their future and created the Year 12 Coming Back Stronger program.

We spoke with clinical psychologist and director of the Kidman Centre Dr Rachael Murrihy about the program.
