Heightened climate change concerns amongst young people: survey
In a new youth survey by Mission Australia, Young people are deeply concerned about environmental issues. Almost a quarter of respondents express significant personal concern about climate change.
The survey reveals that after the environment, equity and discrimination and economic matters are also high-priority issues.
The challenges faced by young people, including mental health, and highlights the urgent call from youth for Australia to do more to address climate change, as they witness extreme weather events and temperature records being broken.
