We all love our sneakers, but some love them more than others.

A pair of Kanye West’s Yeezy Boost 350 V2 black static adidas sneakers can be found online for the price of up to a few thousand dollars – that’s a month’s worth of rent for a bedroom in Sydney’s inner west.

With such a high demand for sneakers, and with brands new and old producing them, it begs the question – is it possible to find sneakers which are both comfortable AND sustainable? 

To answer that question we were joined by Emily Brayshaw, Lecturer In Fashion And Design History, Theory, And Thinking at UTS, to discuss the benefits of the most versatile footwear choice.
