Sydney Craft Week Festival – celebrating handmade

The Sydney Craft Week festival is all about showcasing and celebrating all things handmade, allowing for the community to engage with craft, experience the process of making through workshops, and the opportunity to support local artists through purchasing local handmade work.

This one of a kind festival dedicated to making by hand will run across 45 suburbs of Sydney and beyond, featuring over 180 events including over 80 workshops, over 38 exhibitions, talks, open studios, live demonstrations and digital events.

We chatted with Fiona Pulford, the festival producer about the amazing work Sydney Craft Week does in bringing attention to and celebrating anything handmade. The festival will be happening from 7th -16th of October if you would like to know more head on over and visit their website sydneycraftweek.com.
