Sydney Eora walk: An Acknowledgement of Country
An immersive harbour walk is currently being curated along Sydney Harbour to honour and celebrate Eora Country. Through a whisper of language, stories shared and art to behold we will engage in the learning of Eora Country.
The 9km walk will be along the harbour foreshore starting at the National Maritime Museum and extending to Woolloomooloo Bay. The curator of the walk Emily McDaniel says “The walk is an Acknowledgement of Country in its truest, most ancient form”. Our producer Marlene Even spoke with Emily McDaniel a curator, writer, and educator, to discuss the walk.
The curated harbour walk is part of City of Sydney’s City’s Eora Journey program.
