The Sydney Festival of Death and Dying
This weekend (November 18-20), Critical Path in Rushcutter’s Bay will be heading six feet under with The Sydney Festival of Death and Dying. Despite its inevitability, death is a topic Western society often shies away from openly discussing. Peter Banki, an artist, teacher and scholar, created the festival with hopes of changing this. He chatted to Nic about the versatile program of events, and why he believes we should be talking about our mortality.
