Sydney Film Festival is BACK for its biggest year yet
The 68th Sydney Film Festival brings audiences back into the cinema, being the first major festival in Sydney to return to live events since the easing of lockdown restrictions.
The 2021 program boasts a huge lineup with 111 feature films, and 50 documentaries from all over the world, opening (November 3rd) with Here Out West, a dramatic anthology of stories from eight talented Western Sydney writers, and closing (November 21st) with Wes Anderson’s fresh-from-Cannes, comedy-drama The French Dispatch, a stylish, visually rich tribute to journalism and The New Yorker.
To chat more about the festival, The Daily’s Ruby Innes was joined by SFF Director and friend of the show Nashen Moodley. For more info on this year’s festival, click here.
