Dust off your binoculars and start practicing those bird calls because the Sydney Olympic Park Authority and the Cumberland Bird Observers Club (CBOC) are once again calling on all bird enthusiasts to participate in Sydney Olympic Park’s 14th Spring Bird Census.

Jess talks to environmental ranger Judy Hamilton about Sydney Olympic Parks Annual Bird Survey. Judy is asking volunteers to record what birds they see, how many, where they are and what they are doing.

The survey information will be used to encourage a healthier ecosystem. Experienced birdwatchers will work alongside volunteers.

The survey will take place 7-9am Tuesdays from the 19th of September to the 7th of November.
