Sydney Writers Festival: Robbie Arnott’s big cat

Robbie Arnott, a Hobartian genre polyglot literary treasure has just released his latest book Dusk. 

Set against the backdrop of Tasmania, myths of cryptic escaped big cats loom large. Arnott’s feline protagonist, Dusk, is asserting her presence through her killing of shepherds. Told with the renowned mastery of language that has seen Robbie Arnott be the recipient of multiple prestigious Australian literary awards and evoking the extraordinary rugged beauty of the Tasmanian highlands.

As a panelist to discuss the State of the Art: the health of the novel on Thursday May 22nd with fellow novelists Samantha Harvey, Rumaan Alam and Torrey Peters.
