A lot of us are guilty of simply turfing out our pre-loved goods when they become faulty, but often all these items need is a bit of tender loving care to gain a new lease of life. The Bower Reuse & Repair Centre in Marrickville is committed to fixing faulty products and appliances, teaching people new skills and saving hundreds of tonnes of useful materials from ending up in landfill. 2SER chats with the co-op manager Guido Verbist on the workshop’s ongoing commitment to environmental excellence and community leadership.
