Take a leap over Zika with Freddy the Frog

Recently there has been outbreaks of the Zika virus in different part of the world.

The Zika virus is a disease, which like malaria and dengue fever, is a mosquito-borne virus, but there have also been reported cases where it has been sexually transmitted.

The virus is especially dangerous to pregnant women where unborn children can face devastating birth defects.

So how can this terrible disease be stopped? In many affected countries advertisements have started appearing claiming that there is one thing you can do to protect yourself – get a pet-frog!

So can toads and frogs work as anti-dengue and zika pets?
