Taronga Zoo Wildlife Retreat
Taronga Zoo has been given the go ahead by the State Government in their plans to build a four-storey wildlife retreat on their harbourside site. The retreat is designed to help people engage with the Australian wildlife as well as to communicate Taronga’s messages of conservation to the public.
The construction is set to commence in August this year and will be completed by March 2019. Libby Hodgson; Director, Marketing, Commercial, and Fundraising at Taronga talks to Nic about the impact construction will have on the animals, as well as Taronga’s most significant conservation works.
