Taxidermy & The Dying Arts
Taxidermy is the art of creating real life sculptures of animals, using their parts. For some its associated with things like trophy hunting, but perhaps this art is a bit misunderstood. For those in this world its a love of science, art and animals that makes it a unique and interesting endeavour. Natalie Delanie John is the founder of Rest In Pieces taxidermy workshops – an educational and inspirational institute specialising in the time honoured skill of preserving and presenting fascinating natural specimens. She joined The Daily’s Stef Posthuma to tell us more.
