Taxing Bitcoin

Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are very different to any other currency. Bitcoin, which is the most recognisable form of cryptocurrency, and has seen its fair share of both praise and criticism, with some highlighting its digital relevance, and others labelling it unstable.

Recent calls have been made for stronger regulation and policing of bitcoin use, with economists asking for bitcoin investors to be taxed like any other investor.
