Teen Sexting Part of Normal Sexual Development?
Sexting. Most of us have heard the term by now. But with the decriminalisation of teen sexting in NSW earlier this month, debate has arisen over the relevancy of education available.
Labelled as a “normal part of sexual development”, NSW teens are now protected from prosecution under the ‘Same Age Defence’, leading to the questioning of both opportunities and consequences that follow this action.
We were joined by leading expert in the field of Children and Technology and Educator, Dr Joanne Orlando, to learn more about the debate around teen sexting and what the change to legislation really means.
