The Aboriginal Flag Demolition and The Pemulwuy Project

Redfern was in the news recently with the demolition of  the huge aboriginal mural based in the Block. This is to make way for a new development called ‘Project Pemulwuy’. The project promises more social housing and high rise student accommodation. It has sparked debate and angered the local indigenous community.
