The Architecture behind Anime

Architecture in Anime blended lines with fantasy and reality, transforming worlds with hybrid buildings and attracting a pop culture enthused Japanese audience. Well a new exhibition in Sydney  may just help bridge the multicultural gap and invite a whole new Western audience to the beloved Japanese art. With intricate, highly detailed and creatively compelling designs, Berlin based curator Stefan Riekeles, created his own ‘Anime Architecture’ exhibit. Manager of the Japanese foundation, Alison Groves, joined the Drive team to talk about the exhibit which is running until 11th August 2018.
