The Bankstown Bites festival returns this year and includes a wide variety of cuisines from all over the world as well as a huge amount of food-related activities, as well as activities that the whole family can enjoy. But aside from all the static events, there’s a food tour that showcases the ‘melting pot’ nature of the Bankstown area. City of Canterbury Bankstown Mayor, Councillor Bilal El Hayek spoke to Drive about the festival and what to expect.
