The ‘Birthday Effect’: How your birthday can affect your self confidence

The position of your birthday in the calendar year may, at first glance, seems like it has little to no effect on your life overall. But new research from the Queensland University of Technology suggests that the ‘Birthday effect’, where you fall in relation to the cut off date for starting school, can have a lasting effect on your self confidence well into adulthood.
