Fund for Peace launches The Bottom 100 to put human face to poverty
The Bottom 100 was launched by non-profit Fund for Peace on June 20 to coincide with World Refugee Day. The campaign, playing on the ‘rich lists’ that appear throughout media channels, features the stories and images of the 100 poorest people in the world.
The website gives people the option to share individual stories across social media and/or take action through signing petitions and donations.
To find out more about the campaign Nic was joined by Fund for Peace Executive Director J.J. Messner.
