The Broken System Silencing Underpaid Migrant Workers in Australia

A recent study undertaken by UTS and UNSW, Wage Theft in Silence, reveals that over a billion dollars in unpaid wages are owed to migrant workers in Australia.  However, fewer than one in ten of these workers are likely to take action to try and recover lost wages.

We were joined by co-author of Wage Theft in Silence, Laurie Berg, to discuss how migrant workers are being underpaid and silenced by Australian systems.
