Vivid is upon us and after a few cancellations amid the pandemic, the festival is running from Friday the 27th of May. The lineup is stacked with a great blend of amazing heritage Aussie acts, brilliant overseas outfits  and emerging local bands. One of those bands is punk rockers the Buoys, who joined Oscar Byrne with drummer Tess Wilkin and bassist Courtney Cunningham. Oscar talked to them about bringing their punk rock sound to the recital halls of the Opera House, sneaking into wet legs suitcases and the thriving female punk rock scene in Sydney.
