One of the world’s most famous books was first published on this day 21st February 2023… and no, we’re not talking about the Bible. The Communist Manifesto written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels was published in 1848 – and since then it has changed the world.

The Communist Manifesto remains one of the world’s most influential political documents. It formed the basis for the modern Communist movement and presents an analytical approach to class struggle and criticizes capitalism and the capitalist mode of production. In 2013, The Communist Manifesto was registered to UNESCO’s Memory of the World Programme
