The Do’s and Don’ts for a Prime Minister during disasters

 Prime Minister Scott Morrison is in an unenviable position at the moment, facing strong criticism over his handling of the catastrophic fires which rage all over the country. 

 Prime Minister Scott Morrisons tour of communities affected by the bushfires, has not been as smooth as he may have hoped. He has come under heavy criticism with some stating he had a lack of authenticity, or that he is ‘out of touch’ with the common Australian. 

But if Morrison is an example of how a leader shouldn’t react in a crisis, what does strong leadership in these trying times look like? For more on how to handle situations like this, we were joined by Senior Lecturer of Writing and Rhetoric at the University of New England, Dr. Rose Williamson.
