The news about the European Union voting in favour for the new reforms of the Copyright Directive has caused major uproar among some individuals, as it is mainly argued that the two articles within this Directive, Article 11 and 13 can restrict individual’s freedom to creatively express themselves on online platforms. What is this all about? Could it potentially find its way into Australia’s copyright law?
